Christmas

 

The photograph of the oversized ornaments is a photograph I found in response to one I had taken, of Bomberger’s front doors. The photograph I found is from Declan McCullagh Photography, the website is http://www.mccullagh.org/photo/1ds-14/oversize-red-christmas-tree-ornaments

These two photographs are similar in their main color usage and content. They do not exactly depict the same thing but they both represent Christmas in iconic representations that one can associate with the holiday season. A shade of red is also the main color in each, although they are both very different. The one of Bomberger is a burnt out red, almost orange and the ornaments are a vivid, alive red. Overall I think the picture of the ornaments seems more alive and vivid, the wreaths on Bomberger seem old and dried, almost as if the holiday season has passed and they are forgotten about.
