Street Photography

The top image is one taken by the legendary street photographer Henri Cartier Bresson. The image below it is one that I took in Princeton as part of the work I was doing for my book project. Like Bresson, my image has little to do with sophistication and much more to do with the moment. Bresson was a master of this, realizing that the essence of photography was in its ability to immortalize the beautiful and yet fleeting moments that surround us in the every day. As I meandered through the Princeton streets, I was fortunate to come across one such moment, the simple and yet beautiful connection between these two strangers as they enjoyed the day.
