Epilouge/The Third Contact

Xing-Danwen -A Personal Diary of Chinese Avant-Garde Art in the 1990sZhang Huan and Ma Liuming, "The Third Contact"                             I took the photograph "Epilouge" as part of a stop action series for a                                                       film about a year ago. While researching artist Ma Liuming    from  "The Photograph as Contemporary Art" I came across this          piece by Xing-Danwen and it instantly reminded me of the photograph I had taken. Her photograph is part of anexpedition where she documented the developmentof contemporary Chinese photography.
