My topic was ordinary things that has been well worn. This is a backpack that my sister and I have used off and on since we were 4 and 6. The inside pockets are completely ripped out and the tag which you see on the zipper is something we made with our mom when we were younger that has our contact information on it.
I chose to take the photo in action, because there is no other way to represent that bag. The photo was taken in an airport, which I think is evident from the bright lighting, and maybe the motion of the person passing by.
The top photo of doors reminds me of this bag, because they are probably used every day, and not thought much of. The difference between the above photo is that there is a costume - a clown suite which I think is supposed to be a focal point.
I think both photos depict the subjects as they are used every day with appreciation.
